I already own the games that I’m interested in, so no entry here, just wanted to say thanks for putting on this giveaway two years in a row and making the fediverse feel a little more fun.
No prob! The fediverse is still a nascent platform, and even PCMR is a nascent community compared to the Reddit original. Plus I guess I’m not cool enough or creative enough to make frequent posts every day like The Picard Maneuver, but I try to comment at least once every other day.
Giveaways are always fun! At least I can do that periodically lol

It is quite impressive and, honestly, frightening how one user can be the source of so much of the content here. I don’t think anyone can reasonably set such standards for themselves.
I’m more than happy to continue cheering giveaways from the sidelines. I’m not rich by any means, but I’m lucky enough to be able to get myself a game if I really want it; save em for someone who might not be able to!
yeah exactly dude, that’s my sentiment and why i’m doing it. While it’s not critical for us to have explosive daily posts in the Fediverse, I just really hope one day we’ll be able to get more people commenting. It’ll be cool to have good conversations here.
I think these days people are just so used to browsing on a phone, upvoting, and moving on. I miss web 1.0 and Forums. I guess that’s why I’ve stuck around with Lemmy since the Reddit API Exodus.

Not entering, just wanna applaud you for doing this. I bought the TR I-III remaster in the summer sale and I will say I am pleased with it at the sale price. It plays pretty well on Steam Deck and scratches the nostalgia itch.
That’s exactly how I plan to play it, too! Nothing like kicking back on a couch or equivalent and playing on steam deck!
Nier Automata would be my pick. It’s been on my wishlist for forever, but I never remember it during sales!
I had a McRib probably 10+ years ago… it was okay. They probably needed Lead Paint instead to add that extra metallicky flavor I was looking for.

They’re very sweet, from what I recall. I much prefer a nice BBQ sauce over some Kirkland (Costco) pulled pork, if I’m going the pre-made/easy route.

Installing FF5 now because I love the early iteration of switchable classes, then I’ll loop back around and play them in order. So I guess I have the next 300-400 hours planned.

Random fact I learned recently; dragonflies are statistically the most successful predatora on the planet with a 96% success rate. For comparison, a lion is about 27-34% successful while hunting.
I saw some dragonflies flying around my backyard the other day and was reminded of that fact.
That’s a cool fact, I had no idea nor did I think about dragonflies as predators!
