Hey, a gun is a tool. Yes, the objective is to kill whatever is at the other end, but it has helpful uses. For example, when a coyote is in your flock. Kill the coyote or let it kill the sheep? A gun is the more life-saving option here. It also protects the farmer’s livelyhood.
An thresher can definitely kill people if used imcorrectly. Shooting a crowd is using a gun incorrectly.
Guns are useful on farms for pest control, euthanizing livestock, and self defense.
