We need to overhaul the system to actually break the 2 party hold and that can unfortunately only happen if you vote in enough people who actually take up issues like removing first past the post

and trying to make mail in ballots easier, pushing for ranked choice voting so people could actually vote for candidates in the order of who they actually like the most.

This is possible at the state level. Federal reform is nice, but not necessary on this front. In fact, Maine and Alaska have already accomplished this. Whats the hold up in the deep blue states?
