Hi everyone, I’d just like to drop a quick note to say !finalfantasyxiv@lemmy.world moderation has been handed over to myself. The previous mods have been removed. This isn’t due to any specific mismanagement or anything else, but because they were no longer active on Lemmy.
I’m also the moderator at !finalfantasy@lemmy.world, so I’m very embedded in the Final Fantasy community at Lemmy and hope I can serve this community well.
Nothing will change immediately but I will be looking into what can be introduced here to help bring some of the usual FFXIV community happenings.

Great to hear! I had stopped using this community partly because it seemed so dead when the stickied post was for a patch from the last expansion (and not even the last patch).

Do you think you’d need other moderators (for other timezones, redundancy, etc.)?
I think we’re covered for the time being unless we start to seem more growth in terms of activity. Because a lot of the content that is being shared at the moment is by myself it makes it easier to manage.
