When you inflate a balloon with your breath is it more bouyant?
When you inflate a balloon with your breath is it more bouyant?
That is exactly the difference between weight and mass. And yes, that would be weightless and objects like balloons have negative weight until they reach an altitude where they’re neutrally bouyant and then are weightless.

Weight is defined as a force and has a direction. That’s what causes the movement. If the weight didn’t change there would be no movement.
Taking your golf bag to the course counts as hauling now?
Outdoors are generally not protected by right to privacy, even if on private property.
Someone standing in their own front lawn can be recorded with both video and audio without their consent.
This is what makes it legal to record police.
The problem isn’t just that it will be thrown out in court, it’s that it itself is illegal.
Which doesn’t necessarily mean don’t do it but you’re limited in how you can reveal how you know things are being stolen etc.
Math is hard…
Most countries don’t have more than one shooting a day.
Oh. I think that’s just throwaway newspaper comic quality plus jpeg.
I think they’re playing off the vanity of the car makers and owners wanting everyone to know exactly what car it is.
No you leave it on in the shower.
White chocolate is literally the stuff they remove from raw chocolate to make chocolate taste good.
It’s like eating the husk and cob of an ear of corn.
I’d say it also needs to be entirely optional and be opt-in only. Any service, program, whatever needs to work fully for anyone who doesn’t allow their data to be sold or released with extremely few exceptions.
Better solution.
Data are owned by the generator. Only they can sell it etc…
This also solves the privacy problem of law enforcement agencies applying warrants to phone companies etc. for access to your data, which has been an end-run around 4th Amendment rights for decades.

Burning down Twitter has definitely been useful.
By “recovered” the cops unironically mean the opposite of recovered - as in a non-police person has taken the knife.
I can’t tell from just this article if I should lean more to standard cop butchering of language or intentional deception.
EDIT: Or not? I found another article that says they retracted that statement about recovering the knife - that it was the wrong knife. That definitely doesn’t make me less suspicious…
EPA has never banned small trucks. This is from consistent misinformation that shifts blame from car manufacturers to the government.
EPA made a scaled plan that required improvements to emissions from smaller trucks first, then larger trucks over the years.
Car manufacturers chose to abuse that flexibility by simply not making smaller trucks, instead of making ones that meet the standards, which is why trucks have steadily inflated in size in the US as they make whatever the next unregulated size class is that year.
You can of course partially blame EPA for not having the foresight to predict that would happen - but they also make regulations under pressure from politicians and lobbyists who are themselves influenced by car manufacturers.
This misunderstands the motivations of real-life evil people.
Once you accept there is no afterlife, that your legacy means nothing, and that you’re a piece of shit who has no desire to contribute to society or help others - only your personal success and self-pleasure while living matter.
Tarquin says it best, though much more humorously, here: https://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0763.html
By Rush’s personal measure, he absolutely won. So did Kissinger. So did Reagan. Trump and Jones and Rogan are on track.
You don’t beat such people with legacy.
