Upvoted for the adorable photo of a red panda :)
Fuck Musk and all that, but some number of people are always going to get killed.
That’s easy to say, but do you want to be one of the people who gets killed? I don’t.
What if we threaten meteorologists and FEMA instead? /s
To anyone who hasn’t played this yet, if you buy it on console or mobile, the huge 1.6 patch is set to release November 4th.
From what I have seen, if you can play it on PC, do it, as you can get all kinds of mods and stuff that aren’t available on console. I played it on Switch years ago and then would see youtube videos of people playing the PC version and it looked like a different game altogether.
+1 for Crosscode! I will admit the terrain puzzles can feel tedious after a while, but goodness, this game has great mechanics, story, and charm. One of my favorite games of all time.
I am so excited for the next game coming out by Radical Fish Games.
Nice try! I looked at the Steam reviews with people who had 600+ hours playing this game and said something like “it’s hard and cruel and punishing on a level we as a people have not experienced before” and I knew I would never have the time or patience to play this! 😄
From a legal standpoint I would argue for fetal viability without medical intervention, because with advances in medicine, we might soon be capable of keeping a fetus alive in artificial wombs throughout the development cycle, which could effectively erase our right to an abortion.
I am unsure what the current US laws are regarding this though.
If I scritch my cat just right on a certain spot on her back, she’ll immediately fall over onto her side to accept my offering of more back scritches. It works nearly every time.
My partner gets jealous because the cat refuses to fall over whenever he tries it.
That’s adorable. Mine will get really excited for food sometimes and get all poofy because of it. If she’s extra happy about it, she’ll even hiss.
As someone who lives in the US, I can assure you that these monstrosities are killing plenty of adults too.
When one of them kills someone on an e-bike, the local government considers banning e-bikes instead of regulating 3-ton murder-mobiles.
Permission Manager X gives the user fine grain control over pretty much every permission an app has, moreso than the built in Android permissions settings. I was trying to use it to keep certain apps from starting automatically at boot.
As far as the hardware tweaks, my Xperia has an “assistant button” on the side of the phone, but since I don’t use google assistant or anything, Xposed Edge Pro lets me remap it to do basically anything, even when the screen is off. I have it set to play/pause my music even when the screen is off, but only if headphones are connected.
Only if you steal directly from Nestle.
AdAway, AFWall+ (for restricting network access to apps), Root File Explorer (needed to get my watch working with GadgetBridge), Permission Manager X, Xposed Edge Pro (for hardware keys remapping), Pixels (for a hardware display fix)
Sony Xperia 1 iii – LineageOS w/microG
Yes they do. Millions of them do.
This made me wonder though…the car obviously has cameras on the outside, and there’s also a way to communicate with the support team from inside…so is it a stretch to think that these cars could be auto-recording everything that’s happening inside the car?
Should we - as riders - have any expectation of privacy in a car with no driver?

I don’t know, I see Nilay’s question as “why aren’t you doing what’s ethical?” and I always welcome that line of questioning.
