Home ownership in the US has hovered between low 60% and high 60% for around 6 decades now, but sure, let’s pretend that it ain’t possible no more because some people only want to post doom-and-gloom bullshit because they have ulterior motives.

Amazing what Elon Musk single-handedly was able to accomplish.
This is one of the more fascinating space stories. The modeling for such an object should be (relatively speaking), rather simple. Something isn’t going to speed up or slow down without a force being applied to it. So NASA should be able to model this quite accurately.
Hand-controls are a thing. Eddy is perfectly fine driving his handi-van around. He’s not too keen on when motorcycles part in between the handicapped spots though.
That’s great when all those people live in the same block and go to work at the same company and have the same hours.
But Frank lives 10 miles away and works on the other side of town. And Tim lives 3 towns over and works the night shift. Bill lives in the country and works 40 miles away. Eddy lost a leg in the war and while he is only 1/2 mile from the bus station, can’t walk that far with his disability.
When it is convenient, it is convenient, but there’s a reason why when given the choice, most normal people will drive their car instead no matter what the nonsense in this subs likes to pretend is real.
give up
No. That’s not what companies do.
BMW and Mercedes were the “leaders” in milking their customers and thus they got the most bad press. All BMW is doing is waiting until more companies start doing this and the whole idea of subscriptions in the car business becomes normalized to the public.
Unless consumers continue to shun this concept and the press blasts these companies for trying to push this nonsense, it will make a comeback in the years to come. Unfortunately, I simply do not think consumers will look at their long-term interests. Its like telling gamers not to pre-order the hottest upcoming releases because it encourages companies to release buggy software… all the pleading in the world ends up falling on deaf ears. Same too, I believe, will happen in the car market.
Should have drawn a string of yawn in it’s mouth as it tries to trip the human.
No way would that kid be frowning. If this was legitimately in the late 70s or early 80s that kid would be ecstatic with the graphics.
But WHY? God I can not understand why someone would willingly use iOS. I have both an Android and iPhone and every time I pick up the iPhone I wonder why anyone would use this willingly.
If these drugs help people then fantastic, but I find it infuriating how little press the dangers of sugar gets.
We are finally waking up to the fact that fat in foods was never the cause of people getting fat. Terrible studies decades ago created a whole generation that shunned (or at least tried to shun) fatty foods, but never looked at the danger that sugar and carbs are to our health. Billions were wasted on chemicals and drugs that reduced the fat in processed foods that ultimately did very little in helping folks lose weight. Sugar, which is seemingly in everything we eat, on the other hand, has rarely been accused to being the cause for people’s weight problems. At least until fairly recently. Now the tide is turning and there are certain diets (such as keto) which finally show that cutting carbs and sugar can get results.
If these new drugs listed in the article can produce similar or better results with little consequences then fantastic. But sometimes cutting something out, it better than adding more drugs into one’s diet.
I have a large backlog of games to play before I even think about buying anything new, but is this even a good game? Serious question because I know there has been a huge amount of press on it, but haven’t watched any reviews yet (on purpose because I hate spoilers and don’t want to be tempted with a new purchase yet).
This isn’t even the last word in this nonsense.
The latest is that Musk, who clearly never knows when to shut the fuck up, called Zuck a coward when Zuck essentially offered Musk an “out” by saying to move on.
Hate both these fucks, but Zuck would destroy Elon. Time and again Zuck is giving Elon a way out of this and time and again Elon finds a way to look like an even bigger loser.
Getting beat by Zuck is going to push Elon past “deluded rich douchebag” to full-on Bond villain, I fear.
I’m not an HVAC guy but you can use PVC pipe in this situation??? That doesn’t seem right.
So you’re saying CEOs aren’t Republican?
This link says that 70% of CEOs are Republican and CEOs have direct control over a company’s labor force. Maximizing profits for shareholder profit is what CEOs do, and shipping jobs overseas is the easiest, and laziest, ways of doing that.
They did that with the infrastructure bill. Republicans were literally fighting it tooth-and-nail one day, and the very next day they were back in their home state taking credit for it. And this has been a common practice for them for decades now. And they always never get called-out on it by the media.
Yes, but ADVERTISE it. Sell your accomplishments because lord knows, no one else will. The news media has been actively attacking stuff that Biden has done while giving Trump one free-pass after another. The news media is not on our side. So if they won’t celebrate Democratic wins, Democrats need to, and turn it into a big deal.
The members of those same labor unions will “reward” Biden by voting for Trump. The number of workers in the trades who are blind MAGAts is astonishing.
This move will not change that.
And it doesn’t help that Democrats will do nothing to sell this news to these people either. As always Democrats act like their accomplishments are like the 7 herbs and spices in the KFC recipe or the special formula for Coke… well hidden so no one finds out about it.
Oh absolutely, but there are so many more, it’s scary.
Oh god. Please aim higher than that. Not saying that Blender ain’t powerful, because it clearly is, but it’s UI is just plain shit. (Unless there have been some massive improvements over the last few years.)
