correct, in my area it is these people, and laborers currently getting ready to lose a bunch of compensation, due to the tariffs their companies are gearing up for. This is probably the first time they have called for cuts, and, instead of just getting record profits, can demonstrate they are going to lose a whole lot of their profit margin. Then there are the far more rare people like a few of the people are here, who are disabled, in poverty, and getting ready to have life saving medicine pulled from them.

I mean, it is fun to joke about. However, I doubt it. Even as late at the 19th century monarchs were blatantly having rivals imprisoned, and executed. Having large groups of people just rounded up and imprisoned, and/or killed, were stealing large amounts of wealth from the tax payers, and just so, so, much shit. They only really ever found themselves suffering legal consequences when other aristocracy decided they needed to go, or that someone else would be better. That, or if material conditions go so bad widespread revolt broke out, and mob justice was served.

Lenny was funny, said the truth, and while some stuff wouldn’t fly today, he was very progressive for the 50’s, and early 60s. He literally had police camp out his shows to arrest him as soon as he started saying something they didn’t like. He was actually getting beat-up by police, expelled from countries, and making land mark civil rights law, because of his routines.

Yeah, the whole idea of having a president, and not a king, is that they are not above the law too. We saw how that idea was ensured by the supreme court.

I have done this. I have told them not to post me shit from channels, and topics, over, and over. Best it seems it can go is like 2 months. When I tried deleting my history, and turning it off, it got SO MUCH WORSE. Even making a new account was orders of magnitude worse. As sad as it is, I am actually getting a better result… I have long been at the point where I do not click on things I am not familiar with, or without suggestion from a trusted source. So I just don’t look at recommended anymore. Just look for the indicator of new stuff from my subs, or look at things I specifically search for.

This is very rarely the case. Almost always they come across some draw back, that makes it completely impractical, and 5-10-15- whatever, years pass without anyone overcoming said drawback.

I have spent decades listening to these people wish just as awful shit on me. I have also watched decades of being the bigger person not work. Maybe there will be no lesson learned without suffering the consequences of their actions, that they wish upon others.

A LOT of the US voters want exactly what Trump is saying. 77 million adults heard all of his fascist rants, and said “That’s my guy!” Also the majority of people who voted Biden, then sat out this one, are older, white, men.

The DNC also aren’t messaging to the people who don’t like the GOP, they are messaging towards those who are statistically most likely to have voted for them in the past, and are most likely to vote in general. They also are watching what the GOP is saying, seeing the rabid fervor their bigotry elicits, and work elements of that into their messaging, because it’s working for the GOP, thus it’s working.

But that doesn’t say which one OP will be at, either!

There are people in poverty who support trump, for example, I have a neighbor who does, and even when I point out to him, the GOP, are trying to prevent him from getting their insulin, he just said “that isn’t true”. So I showed him it in writing, from a GOP source, and he said “well, they will come up with some other way, for people like me, to get their insulin”. I bet this happens, because democrats block everything until there is some way for this to happen, and then he thanks Trump. Because things like this happened under Trump, repeatedly.

However, most of the people I know with disabilities, chronic medical issues, are minority groups, have a lot of people who were pushing for Harris, because the GOP was literally running on a platform aim directly at ruining their lives. These people range in beliefs, they aren’t all left wing, but they aren’t stupid enough to vote their lives away. While most of the people I know, who support trump, are middle classed, trades/white collar people with decent salaries, and wealthier people. In my poor city, in my neighborhood which has a large project housing development, is deep blue. When you get out into the suburbs, with their McMansions, is where you start seeing the Trump signs. Most of the poorer people I see who, support Trump, are in rural areas, and being in the rural areas has a lot to do with why they stay poor. Recently though, a lot of the blue collar guys, in this region, got hit with a loss in compensation due to their manufacturing companies preparing for the onset of the Trump tariffs. They are mad, but I don’t know if they are mad at Trump/GOP, or they are going to blame democrats/immigrants/etc., like they did when a car manufacturing plant here closed, after Trump promised a subsidy to keep it open, then didn’t do that.

I live in the SW PA, SE OH, N WV, Appalachian region, many people are poor here. Like some of the poorest people in the US. Parts of WV are literally seeing third world conditions.
