I just checked mine and it has no permissions. How is it collecting everything?

I have a friend who used to drink too much water. This eventually lead to him having dangerously low sodium levels but he didn’t know that. One day, he knew something was wrong and was yelling to his landlady next door to get help. He passed out outside of his apartment. Then he was in a coma for 4 days.
I asked him what the coma was like. He said he remembered having a vague sense of panic like he was still trying to get his landlady. He doesn’t remember, but when he first woke up, he was screaming her name and fighting the nurses.
I’ve heard a lot of terrible takes when it comes to the gun control debate. But this might be the first well thought out proposal I’ve heard.
Agreed. I think 2XKO could be big enough and accessible enough to bring in Smash players. Riot probably realized they were cannibalizing their own hit game
Also Rivals 2 will likely do well. If anything, we’re seeing platform fighters getting more and more recognized as a genre rather than one game and a bunch of clones.
In Chicago, I started the night with a clear view of the Sears tower. Throughout the night it became more obscured until I couldn’t see any of it.
Liquid IV. I’ll bring a few packets if I know I’m going to be sweating. It’s also great for a hangover.
I need to leave this thread. Interstellar is my favorite movie of all time.

I used to binge growling sidewinder videos. I bought a HOTAS that I haven’t even opened because of those videos.
This happens to me if I have my VPN on from my phone app.
In college, we used to go to the top of parking garages to smoke weed at night. This kinda looks like a parking garage.
I could not disagree more about Contact. I read the book first. I found it to be an incredibly realistic depiction of what contact with alien life might look like. The clashing of world powers, science, and religion are central themes. The movie slimmed down the story as you would expect, but they completely changed the message at the end. The book ends with Ellie finding actual evidence for some divine being which eliminates her conflict with faith. The world governments had already been forced to cooperate much more. Now with the final conflict resolved, it’s implied that humanity can move forward in a more unified direction. The movie has her just believe in God, more or less. The Christians were right…
This is where I disagree. I think a transparent, publicly run system to triangulate gunshots is actually a great idea. As long as the microphones are placed evenly throughout a city, they can instantly let police know where and when a gunshot happened.
However, with no way to publicly verify the fairness of the a private system, there’s only one way this could go.
This game has been hyped within the fighting game community for years. For those that don’t know, the Cannon brothers created the company that’s developing this game. The Cannon twins are the founders of Evo, the largest fighting game tournament. They also created rollback net code allowing fighting games to be much more playable online. They have possible the most clout in the FGC.
The game will be a 2v2 tag fighter with the ability for a team to have 1 or 2 players. The specials will be simple inputs (direction + special button rather than motion inputs). It will also be free to play which a lot of people feel is an underexplored model in fighting games.
I used to live in South Carolina and recently moved to Chicago. Despite there being many more police in Chicago, I’ve actually had less of a feeling of police anxiety because I don’t drive here. The cops are on the roads pulling cars over. They aren’t in alleys and side streets following pedestrians (at the same rates, anyways). If walking and cycling are normal and built for, police are less of a problem, imo.
Conspiracy nonsense. The alternative is everyone having having government drivers licenses and publicly displayed identifying license plates. My feet, bike, and transit passes don’t require any id.
Grocery stores aren’t open at night. Also, it’s usually a lot faster to get stuff from a convenience store than a grocery store. If all you need is some snacks or toilet paper, it’s nice to have a way to quickly get that done.
