So if the content is banned how are people up voting it?
Yeah Lemmy community is all about norms are, approval, and what’s socially allowed. I guess I think more like a CEO and see what’s legally allowed, allowed by the instance and rules. Ironically lemmy mods will ignore community rules and ban you even if you’re within scope of the rules.
But I have no idea how I changed my words to get people to agree with me. I’m trying to pry into people’s reasons as to how I should operate. Your reason are more important than my relationship to you
As a stien voter. I pretty much laugh at people that complain about Democrats loss. Yeah Democrats suck I don’t vote for them because I don’t want them to be legitimized. Also I push for approval voting system
I’m i can understand blocking 500 bots you think are garbage. I guess you can deal with the traffic of bots but not so much their content
Gotta love it when my questions get ignored and I just get met with another question, but since I’m the only one who’s certain about whwt they’re doing. It’s evolution, I want to see how systems change and how dynamic they can be, maybe something I never thought of emerges
In this case that probably it, but I mean in general. You can calmly ask an angry person if alternative X is okay and they berrate you, accuse you, or talk in a way that makes no sense then you just ignore them.
Alright so what if there’s 500 undisclosed bots running around and they have various quality of interactions or if there’s a constant influx of new LLM bots?
AI actually makes it so computers can process language. I had two issues one is tracking police based on where they are and the other is detecting live streams post is a live stream post and it’s hard to process abstract concepts like that so you get the LLM to make the determination. Beats going through all the data yourself and figuring out edge cases
I’d say yes like it’s hard to program language processing, plus it helps get information pretty fast
I meant in the future they’ll implement it. I haven’t found it. Also corporation will enter fediverse they might not explicitly say they’re a corporation
I stopped caring what other people think. Especially when they can’t say why they’re mad
I wondered if comments you post are, according to AI they’re actually copyright protected. But it’s funny that no one read the TOS and basically give copywrite of comments to meta and Reddit (maybe) so legally the comments can be scraped without the authors consent. So there’s plenty of legally and pretty much (technically)ethical sources content for LLMs, if you’re okay with capitalism and corporations.
I look at AI as a tool, the rich definitely look at as a tool too, so I’m not going to shy away from it. I found a way to use AI to discriminate if a post is about live stream or not and use that to boost the post on mastodon. And I built half a dozen scripts with perplexity and chat gpt, one of witch is a government watchdog to see if there’s any ethical or legal violations https://github.com/solidheron/AI-Watchdog-city-council
I’m not advocate that you should be pro or anti AI, but if you’re anti AI then you should be doing anti AI measures
I thought about using legalese or old obscure phrases from 100 years ago (maybe even old English) in a reply to a bit and seeing how it responds. General not all language is known to a person but an AI wouldn’t be stumped (maybe). If we found AI they would get better to the point were they’re human like and after that it’s like "oh well we got ai citizens of the Internet ’
Seems like Lemmy has some basic algorithms but I know one instance will implement algorithms
Does Ubuntu dick or something?
Doesn’t offend me
I like the Shame route but it’s more of a curiosity thing. Like you want to know how an electric motor works so you hook it up to a 12v source before hooking it up to a 1000v source. In this case, the 1000v source is watching their beliefs get destroyed.
I definitely said toxic things to the people on lemmy. It was toxic environment, mutually toxic.
Effective is relative. Like if I wanted the angry mob to form well I succeeded, but I was trying to get them to explain how I was wrong, like actually putting it into words and then confront them on their logic. But I can say my methods are ineffective in the sense that people wouldn’t explain how I’m wrong (I mean they wouldn’t say how my methods are wrong)
Re:zero anime has told me that I can’t and shouldn’t try to break people because they’ll make their way through suffering.
Now I undermine people in power by basically helping the fediverse , but I should stop undermine people even if I think they’re displaying toxic traits
Cool actually getting positive support and attention. When I first got to Lemmy I basically shared my story about how called out a developer to gauge their response to see if I should move onto another project. Short story is I basically formed an angry mob against me that persisted for like 2 days because they didn’t like my methods and that I’m confrontational to them as well.
But if say what makes me think I’m a psychopath is that I regularly go online and figure out how to trigger and put ideas into people’s heads and put down people. Like it’s a hobby. I start with politics and people make it personal and it’s like I’m anonymous person on the Internet, your politics suck and you did these horrible things(racism, classism) and displayed mental illness(like staying angry and obsessed)
If you’re talking about the counter AI measures I’m curious if they exist and I want to implement them in a bit that makes human like responses. But the AI I’m curious if it can the turing test
