I’ve had the z fold 3, 4, 5 and pixel fold, right there with you. I mostly hear the complaints about people thinking folding phones are dumb from sites where people are more likely to have serious opinions on what phone you should buy, like here and reddit. To be honest everytime someone sees my phone for the first time they’re super interested in it and could see themselves buying one; the real issue is the price. As soon as I mention that it’s probably 3x the price of their current phone, that’s the end of that lol. Hopefully they can get the price down to regular slab phones. Once they do I think they’ll start to seriously compete because I think this form factor is incredible.
It was cool in 2010 when I was like 14 and had an iPod touch but didn’t have wireless Internet access at home because my parents didn’t understand the concept of a router and thought they would have to pay for it, plus christian concern over porn and corruption on the net. So I could go to like McDonalds or whatever, download all of these game review articles, web novels, and whatever else I was into at the time so that when I got back home I could still interact with the web.
Nowadays, yeah I don’t really get the point. Everyone’s permanently plugged in so a regular bookmark is fine. Also in case anyone was concerned, my buddy eventually gave me his old router and I secretly set up WiFi in my house so I was good for the rest of the time I lived at home 👍

I use it because I follow a lot of Japanese artists and mangakas. It’s nice because ya know Twitter is English so getting around is pretty easy. Stuff like pixiv seemed intimidating because it’s made for a Japanese audience, even if they have English stuff. Plus I just know how to use Twitter after making my account in 2009.
I was for it for the first 100 clones. Now it’s in the same vein as 2d pixel shooter rougelikes, way too saturated. I never give these a second look because there’s just so many uninspired clones.
I think most of the time when Christianity is depicted Jesus is used, since that’s their distinguishing factor. Islam, Judaism, and Christianity all have the same god capital g.

In case anyone doesn’t know, the mobile port is incredible when you don’t have time to play a full run.
I force closed the app from settings and then that went away. I didn’t mess with anything else.
Yeah I feel you there are a lot of features that I feel they could and the game still be “realistic” like they claim. I’m not sure if you know though, you can store items at inns and with the weight limit being what it is, it has forced me to be less of a loot goblin and not just picking everything up in a square mile. Buying back from vendors would be cool, but it’s also a pretty common mechanic to be missing from games too.
Yeah pretty unfortunate there’s all this hubbub around the game with mtx and poor optimization… The game at its core I’m in love with.
I saw dune 2 in 4dx and I’m going to have to disagree… It was mostly just being mildly shaken, uncomfortably, for 10 seconds as you hope your food and drinks don’t spill in a hard chair. Not to mention expensive, I’m probably never gonna see a 4dx again

I’m in love with balatro, but do you think it’s better than slay the spire? I think slay the spire just feels… More of a game than balatro I guess? Maybe I feel that way just because there’s not really a story set up against balatro, and slay the spire at least has you fight an entity that you feel good about.
I can’t beat the goddamn black deck, I don’t know what’s wrong with me 😢
IMPORTANT UPDATE: I have managed to beat the black deck. Vagabond for a lot of death cards, shoot the moon to make those death cards queens, and an early triboulet led me to victory. I wish all fellow balatroers a pleasant evening and a lucky night
Is it $70 somewhere? I got it for $60 on gog and steam says $60 too. Unless you’re Canadian or something
“All trainees are reminded: drink 1/2 to 3/4 canteen per hour, not to exceed 12 canteens per day. You will drink 3 non-caffeinated, non carbonated beverages with each and every meal.”
Is what was recited daily when I was in basic training. And yeah, heat stroke is a big issue. I don’t think you can blame the instructors really; everyone knows someone that says water tastes bad or whatever. All the instructors know is that everyone better be drinking their water.
