  • Not at all what I suggested. I also believe that this is a good movement. But sometimes there are other side effects.

The reality is many right leaning folks follow religious beliefs that encourage large families and discourage birth control, so be default they do “shit out more kids than the other side” and thus that is why the status Quo for the right was preserved for so many generations, arguably right up until WW2 and the information age when knowledge turned the tide. And the right knows knowledge turned the tide, hence why a large part of Project 2025 is about crippling the education system.

I believe we need to have less kids to reduce population and practice degrowth, frankly. I believe MAGA idiots and any man that voted for Trump do deserve this cock block. I am just also seeing where this may backslide. It’s good to keep looking at all possibilities.

So do her like Kim Campbell? I love the burn to MAGA but she deserves better than that. The first woman president of the US deserves better than that. Sadly I also agree that while unpurchased merch is possible, its also likely that Trump will just make more money off this.

    Re Kim Campbell:

Campbell became the new prime minister in June 1993 after Mulroney resigned in the wake of declining popularity. In the 1993 Canadian federal election in October of that year, the Progressive Conservatives were decimated, losing all but two seats from a previous majority, with Campbell losing her own. Her 132-day premiership is the third-shortest in Canadian history.[a]

  • For me the most haunting thing I ever read in English class was The Chrysalids by John Wyndham.

In a sci-fi future post nuclear war the survivors in Labrador on the east coast of Canada completely reject science and all non biblical knowledge. They think everyone not made in their view of gods image needs to die, and that includes their children who begin to develop mutations due to the radiation.

The kids spend a lot of the book trying to escape the crazy, uneducated religious population and try to find a way across the nuclear wasteland that is the centre of Canada and the US in order to get to the Scientific society of survivors, who aren’t going to try and kill them, on the island of “Sealand”

I have never believed in religion in spite of being raised in a Catholic family. I read the Bible front to back young and realized it was nothing but contradictory nonsense and fantasy. For me, this novel my public high school teacher assigned to us was pure nightmare fuel.
