I dumped Proton and moved to selfhosted email using mailcow. Moved my calendars and contacts over to Nextcloud since I already had it run for files.

Some will say self hosting email is not worth the trouble. I disagree. Once you have the DNS records all setup correctly its just a matter of keeping the software up to date. With mailcow that’s usually a monthly update using the included update script. Also setup something like crowdsec to watch your logs and block the script kiddies. Also don’t even try sending email from your server itself, save yourself the headache and use a relay service. I use MXroute.

Especially when one of the boot lickers is the ranking member of party that should be making the most noise right now. Instead they support the Cheeto with more budget to keep working on ripping the country apart as well as pushing it’s closest allies away.

Canuck here. When is the Civil War kicking off? I’m sure they’ll be a fair number of Canadians who will come and help remove him from office. We’ll for sure send some of our highly trained Canadian Geese to assist lol

Stay in Canada and out of the US. I know this is not an option everyone. Do stay safe and do anything you can to protect yourself online and physically as well. Just wanted to add my support to those in the US who didn’t ask for this.
