I think it depends on the table (and possibly the game). I’m playing in a game where the bad guys usually have their own timetables for doing things. If we as players get sidetracked, there’s the expectation that the bbeg continues with their plan unopposed. It’s also within reason that if the players are known to the bbeg, they will do things to keep us occupied / distract us.
With that said, if this is not what the table expects, then everyone needs to sit down and talk it over.

1·4 months agoI think the semicolons are correct too (though the colon you mentioned would add a lot of clarity). This grammar rule comes up infrequently enough that it can be jarring to encounter a semicolon before reaching the end of a properly formed independent clause.
4·4 months agoEither ambient instrumental music (lots of Brian Eno) or any music that I know all the words to (so that my brain doesn’t have to actively process the lyrics).
Looks like five mistakes to me. And two spelling errors.
1·4 months agoSeconding track leveling and compression, especially if the parts are recorded separately or you’re not used to live performance.
(This isn’t to say that track level dynamics aren’t important, especially in non-pop music)

To be fair, GPS apps have some limitations that can cause this at times. I’d love it if an early voice alert could tell me if an exit is on the left or right side of the highway or how the exit split is organized way in advance of it happening.
