I agree. While we’re at it, we can also make election day a holiday and require employers to give workers at least a paid half-day off so that they can vote, and create a citizenship ID that is free and easy to get rather than using ID with requirements like a driver’s license. Then maybe we can try out ranked choice voting and eliminate the electoral college. You know, since we want the election to be fair.
I’m probably going to get some hate for this one, but Spider-Man: Across The Spiderverse. The story wasn’t as tight as the first movie, they introduced too many new characters to keep up with, and it ended with a setup for the next movie.
I heard a story about a guy doing something similar, but it was his internet connection speed and instead of submitting a noise complaint it tweeted at his service provider.
Ah, true. My last job could have done that. Use a home printer.
Type up fake email discussing it, leave it in the break room. Deniability.
Maybe he doesn’t want them all dead, but he regularly abducts and dissects individuals who catch his attention. One is of specific interest, but has never been caught because the mongrelfolk are protecting it.
Make them live in terrible conditions, and look like monsters at first glance. This way your players will react to them as standard dungeons & dragons monsters, by which I mean kill them all. Afterwards, they find council chambers, crude medical facilities, nurseries, etc that imply that their society was surprisingly egalitarian and had a budding democratic government.
Give just enough of a hint beforehand so that they could have resolved things peacefully if they had been paying attention.
If harming your players emotionally is the goal.
Bonus points for art and holy texts or statues depicting the professor as a faceless, looming, menacing shadow in a white coat.
This man was such a good actor, and this character was perfect.
But I’ve also seen some articles suggesting that there isn’t an inherent physical strength advantage between men and women to begin with. Basically men typically start with more muscle but men and women typically build muscle similarly.
Men have something like 20x more testosterone than women, and testosterone has a massive impact on strength and endurance.
See what Hackworth said about the robots, also, there are multiple ongoing projects that hope to change the existing construction processes enough that android-style robots won’t be necessary. 3d printing houses, for example.
The jobs that will be safe longest are those that are both physical and unpredictable/non-standardizable.
I appreciate this
Most closely represents my values.
Oh, they probably don’t.
Could be. Or you could be accusing me of bad faith because it feels nice and requires no effort.
Probably accurate. Anything that upsets the status quo, costs business owners money, or otherwise threatens reelection chances is going to be met with force. Or, more likely, a smear campaign, ridicule, and then force
Why should I? I’m having a conversation, not writing a paper.
Not a communist, but I think I will vote for the person who most represents my values and policies this year.
You pasted the last paragraph twice.
