Yes, Apache licensed: https://github.com/JetBrains/intellij-community
Not sure how fully featured it is, it’s been close to two decades since I last used it ;) It certainly was better than Netbeans or Eclipse back then.
It’s been many years since I tried it last, but back then MM simply had far more management features. If you don’t have any pain points with musicbee, I don’t think there’s a reason to switch, though.
But IME most tools for example don’t have something as simple as “tagging issues”:
Good upgrade is underselling it. It’s several orders of magnitude faster.
Well, time for my usual trinity of software mentions :D Preface: All paid, commercial, all windows only
edit2: Thought of one more, FOSS this time:
Kinda funny to mention Obsidian as less known/talked about when just a few days ago there was The cult of Obsidian: Why people are obsessed with the note-taking app :D
I don’t care, but I also don’t care about achievements outside of it sometimes fascinating me how few people played the game for more than 10 minutes :D
Yeah, but because they prefer them, or because they are less than half of the price of salted almonds? And even cheaper compared to really fancy nuts.
Do they really prefer them? Peanuts are pretty much the cheapest there are, but certainly not the best. They might be better than hazelnut or brazilnut (though I’d say it depends even then in what you want), but pretty much all other nuts are superior to me.
Heh, I was at multiple liters of black coffee a day. Nowadays, it is only 1 liter :D
On the other hand, my home made sweet stuff was way less sweet than supermarket stuff, and from what I heard that already was way less sweet than US stuff (I’m in Germany).
The first two weeks is very difficult. Especially the first 3 to 4 days. We’re talking hallucinations almost, deep cravings, it’s very difficult to kick the habit. I can’t compare it to other addictions, but the effect is very real.
As with almost anything nutrition-wise, YMMV. Going cold turkey off caffeine was harder for me than starting keto (been doing keto for 11 years). Caffeine resulted in shakes and fever symptoms for several days, keto only in a 1-2 day period of brain-fog and general tiredness. Similar for my wife, though for her, it’s a few more days.
Depends. I’ve been to some, where it’s party games, usually The Werewolves of Millers Hollow played by some people, while others just chill and talk. Other times, it involves actual dancing, but as that’s rarely gothic or metal, those are not parties I spend a lot of time on. Most I go to have metal in the background, talking, and alcohol. And also only 10 people max.
I’m from northern Germany. While global warming changed things a bit, we used to have a joke
What are you doing this summer?
On that day I plan to work in the garden.
That said, I also hate baseball caps, something some people tend to also call hats.
edit: Oh, and funnily enough, hats are still somewhat rare in South Africa, despite them having a lot of sun. It’s mainly people working outside that wear them. Most of the white people there do look a bit sun-burnt.
Not leaving the house without a hat. I feel naked without one. I have a felt hat, a straw hat, and a vintage stetson made from leather-looking plastic for traveling and festivals as it’s essentially indestructible ;)
The straw hat is closing in on 10 years, and I’m planning to get a new one next summer, I have not yet decided on the style, maybe a panama hat.
Oh wow. They are responsible (in a roundabout way) for me looking loving extreme metal, so that’s sad to hear.
He’s far from an idiot
Sorry, but spreading fake news and calling tons of bands, including left-wing ones, Nazis makes you an idiot. A big one, even.
I started getting really worried when I had a German person tell me industrial was Nazi music and he didn’t go near it.
Yeah, that person was simply an idiot. Industrial, especially EBM/Industrial tends to have military themes, something people tend to confuse with ring wing ideologies. Some bands like Hanzel und Gretyl lean even more into Nazi imagery, but they are also very clearly making fun of it. One of the founding bands of Industrial Rock (KMFDM) has been singing about left wing topics pretty much since their founding in the 80s.
And I’m not getting into any of the rumors about this pop-rock band that’s so famous ;)
edit: Here’s a comment on reddit giving a good overview, they say that newer H&G might actually be right, but I can’t say anything about that as I only know their old stuff.
Haha, yeah, I instantly knew what I was going to talk about when I saw the thread title. Then I saw the posts here and “woah, that’s all on another level” :D The only thing I had even heard of was all the Burzum stuff, but then it’s not as if I ever particularly liked his music.
