I’ve been playing BG3 for about 70h on the steam deck. Performance isn’t perfect, but it’s definitely playable on 30fps and low graphics. I’ve just got to Baldurs Gate city and I noticed the audio stutters slightly in busy areas. That’s the only noticeable performance issue I’ve had.

I have only played it on the steam deck so I have nothing to compare it against however. I’d love to play it on something more powerful so I don’t have to see it in potato-level graphics tho 😅

Even though it looks kinda cool and cyberpunk, it’s still gross that there’s so many roads completely built over a city where people work and live, with a No Cycling sign suggesting cyclists and pedestrians are second class citizens here.

Valid, if they created this update before November 2023 when 6.6 was released, and have needed to test Steam OS with the 6.5 kernel for a whole year before releasing it.

Weird that they went to kernel 6.5 which is already a year old, rather than going to the LTS version 6.6 which is still in support.

Well, it looks like reverting to Stable seemed to at least partially fix it for me. The keyboard is still higher on the screen, but at least it fits to the screen width correctly. Thanks!

I couldn’t find any mention of anyone else with this issue around the web or on valve’s GitHub issue tracker, so I assumed it was something dumb I’d done rather than a bug.

I am currently on the latest beta - I’ll test the stable/preview channels in case that makes a difference.

They intentionally removed this feature years ago. It was possible to reenable via a dconf setting for a while but I believe that was also eventually removed.
So annoying.
