Doch irgendwann schon … und zwar mit Wums!
Running on hope isn’t sustainable in this world, you gotta run on spite!
Every single western country outside of America has hate speech laws without issue.
So does the US. Just not for ordinary people.

In theory.
In practice it would be very hard and you would require very rigorous definitions of what constitutes hate speech that would have to carefully examined on a case to case basis. So basically you’re building a small legal system.
That’s impossible to do with volunteer moderators working for free.
Fake news, Hadrosauridae had bills.
How is the history lost? You don’t need surviving relatives to keep historic records.
I have one dock at home, one dock at work. The docks stay connected to the peripherals and I just have to plug in one cable into the laptop to connect everything. I much prefere that over having to plug in 3-4 different cables in the past.
It is very funny, but also kind of sad. It’s just stupid elitism over what … the way you host your personal, probably pirated, media? I don’t understand why people take it so seriously. It’s such a 1st world problem.
I feel you. I have close to 30 friends on plex, but only like 5 people use it regularly, another 4 sporadically … and most others either have never watched anything or just like seconds (probably just testing if it worked).
It’s not the easiest platform to adopt, especially if you just have an account to connect to a friends library and don’t know how to do the inital setup (hiding all the free crap). Most of my regular viewers are family members … and I setup their homescreen for them.
Oh, if you’re only talking about lemmy then totally. Lemmy is extremly biased. There is serveral big instances where criticising Putin will literally get you banned. And a lot of the bigger communites have tanky or tanky-leaning mods, too.
Also NoCredibleDefence is a rather lighthearted meme community, not a lot of hateful people there.
Pretty sure that’s because of what kind of communities you’re following (or not following). He absolutly get’s that level of hate. Arguable even more as people regularly want him dead and mean it.
When you want to download a show only to realise you already have it :(
personal pizza
Yeah, that’s not a thing or term of any meaning (unless you mean a customised pizza, like choosing your own toppings). But believe what ever you want, mate.
I can promise you it is. Unless it says it’s for more then one person.
Preach!
One of the craziest wtf moment of my life resulted from an oversharing parent.
At a hot summer day a few years back someone posted a picture of them barbequing in their backyard to our company’s “off topic” teams chat. Nothing unusual. I was over at a friends place so I send back a picture of us sitting in lawnchairs having a beer. In comes the third colleague, first time father with a roughly 1.5 year old at the time. So he posts a picture of his kid running around in his backyard. Completly naked, full frontanl nudity.
It took me a minute to recollect and I messaged him to please take down the picture. I know he didn’t mean any harm and was just sharing his hot-summer-weekend expirence … and he did realise his blunder and took it down. But wtf mate?
After that I immediately googled how to clear my teams’ app image cache …
