For example, it includes: Outreach programs to talk to people in underrepresented communities to tell them that opportunities exist Avoiding biased language and assumptions in the hiring process that would negatively impact people of certain demographics Hiring authorities that prevent bias against the disabled and veterans Audits and data to see if an organization has decided to just be racist and reject non-white applicants Your argument is, we should remove people’s protections because if we taught everyone better they wouldnt be discriminatory.
